Welcome Fall

Welcome Fall.....
I decided to change up my wreath this year and start from scratch.  I went simple but to me it feels warm and cozy.  I made 3 burlap roses and then tied them together.  Added in the leaves and a little twine on the side to balance it out.
It is a beautiful time of the year where the leaves are changing and the air is crisp. School has started and I love the warm colors of fall, pumpkins and leaves. Yummy fall foods such as soup and bread, pumpkin pie and hot chocolate and apple cider.  I especially love a good movie or book and my favorite super soft toasty warm blanket and cuddling with my love.  Happy Fall.....

I found this printable at jandaandco.blogspot.com. I think it is sooo cute. I put it right up in my living room by the front door. We tend to say this ALOT in our house. It is a good reminder too. I printed it out on photo paper and put it in one of my favorite frames.

An Inspired gift

I just finished making this sign as an anniversary gift to my sweet husband of 14 years.

We both love this quote. We have found it very inspirational as we try to accomplish our goals and dreams.

Now it will be a great reminder in our house :)

A Little Love For The Laundry Room

I wanted my boring laundry room to be a happier place to be. I have loved this saying for years. In my previous home I had the vinyl directly on the wall in a very large print and loved it, but I have moved and had to start over. This is my mobile version. I love the deep red against the white. My cricut is wonderful. It has been a great investment.

Found this metal basket. Cute huh? I am going to fill it with laundry room supplies

I then pulled out my scrap booking and jewelry making supplies. I took a piece of paper in the deep red color and cut it to the size of my label, added a brad to hold the paper and the label together, and then took jewelry wire and a crunch beed to attach it to the metal.

Very inconspicuous!

Next I am going to get out my ink pad and letters to make the labels. Then I will make a little bag for the circular basket and fill it with clothes pins .

They Just Make Me Smile

 It may be a silly way to start out my blog but I really love my new rain boots. 

 I have lived in Washington State almost my whole life and I have never had a pair of rain boots.  

That is shocking!  Don't you just love the black with the white polka dots.  These are totally me! 

They inspire me and just make me smile :)
